A fantastic performance happened at the Ipswich Civic Centre on Saturday 25 August 2018, featuring the wonderful and talented jazz singer Hetty Kate and the fabulous Australian jazz guitarist James Sherlock performing along side the Ipswich City Big Band.
The performance featured two sets, with Hetty singing a variety of classic jazz numbers with the full big band, then other popular jazz standards like Moanin’ and Basin Street Blues with the ICBB rhythm section, James Sherlock and Andrew McNaughton on trumpet. And if that wasn’t enough Hetty and James performed several duos wowing the crowd.
